He's given £2M to build a library. He's old. Yes, hes an egomaniac, but he wants to be remembered. Give him a break.

No he hasn't, he's given £415,000, still a sizeable chunk but still only 20.75% of the project, even if he's claiming 100% of the publicity. To his credit, reading between the lines, he was the first to make a donation which helps gets the ball rolling.

£415,000 so some young doctors have got a place to read ?
Bill Gates has thrown in about £24billion to try and eradicate childhood diseases in Africa.

Typical Ellis ! Running his charitable foundation with a corner shop mentality !  ;)

I remember outside Wembley in 2000 he left his wife standing by herself while he glad handed every Villa supporter he could get his hands on....and anyone who names his boat Deadly is all right by me!

Hes probably got an agreement with the club that they dont rename his stand....forever!
