Jeremy Vine Show - Sgt John Jones Remembered.
« on: November 09, 2011, 02:03:38 PM »
Just listened to Jeremy Vine Show (Radio 2) - the last half an hour all this week features a fallen soldier remembered through their music.

Todays is Sgt. John Jones , a Villa fan and remembered by his mother Carol.

It's emotional stuff but entirely appropriate this week!

Give it a listen on the iPlayer.

i did listen today and it was emotional, but they played that awful version of the bells are ringing  as "Aston Villa's anthem". very sorry for the families loss. he sounded like a good bloke. RIP

I just made a comment about this on the Press Bias thread.  The anthem was not out of place at all.

The Bells are Ringing was a Villa anthem. To some of us it still is.
