Does anyone think that forthcoming financial restictions, and home-grown players rules might eventually make the playing field fairer, and Villa will again have a shout of getting into the top 4?

even if we had of qualified for the champs league under MON, it would have needed ongoing massive investment to stay in there, which wouldnt have happened, we would have been a bit like Spurs and Everton, one season wonders,
i dont buy this all would have been honky dory if we had qualified, in fact it might have been a lot worse,
not that i would have been complaining at the time
