'Twould be a great shame if he leaves, but from his point of view, actually having a transfer and wages budget for players would come as a relief....

From a selfish point of view, I'd hate to see him go. But it'd be a fantastic opportunity for him, and after some more experience maybe he could come back in a few years.

one would hope that given his dedicated service to our club he becomes a very successful manager in his own right and never needs to return.

I would guess he means as our manager in the future.

Errr, have you been keeping up with events at Forest?
The miserliness of their board makes Randy's current approach look positively altruistic.

Blackadder : Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is?
Baldrick : Yeah! It's like goldy and bronzy, only it's made of iron.

Should he get it I'll be sad to see him go but I wish him all the best.

I'd prefer him to be AM's number two rather than just first team coach along with Sid. I guess he still fancies a go at managing even though he admits his strength is as a coach. Anybody that has seen our Reserves play will know that we need him here more than Forest.

If McLeish is to survive and build something at Villa Park, the last thing he should be doing is allowing K Mac to speak to Forest. Really hoping he turns them down.

If he does go, obviously I hope he does really well. Especially as he's joined a nice club like Forest, and not somebody horrible. Like Leeds. Or Cardiff.

Colin does want the job , he is not happy with what Villa are paying him as first team coach ..

but I think some manager who was or is at Notts county is the favourite .

I see Forest have agreed compensation with Portsmouth for Steve Cotterill and he's heading over there for talks. So looks like KMac is staying which is great news
