Old stars on Sunday

Villa Old Stars are in action on Sunday, playing a Bolehall Swifts Select at Bolehall Swifts FC, Bolehall. Kick off is 2pm and definitely confirmed as playing are Steve Staunton, Gordon Cowans, Lee Hendrie, Mark Burke and Martin Carruthers.

Good God, the lil' one an old star at 34? What an absolute waste... the sad thing is you could have predicted it for the last few years now.

I was wondering recently how long he'd manage to stay in Malaysia... I take it he's back home for good?

I saw Hendrie turn out for the Old Stars at Daventry a few weeks ago. I had pretty much the same view- an absolute waste of talent.
