Fund-raising for Acorns

My name is Terry and I am the chairman of the North Walsall Lions (a branch of the official Aston Villa Supporters clubs).

We meet the first Monday of each month in Pelsall to arrange tickets and travel as well as chat about all things claret & blue!

One of our main goals is to raise money for our nominated charity (Acorns children’s charity). On Saturday 17th September 2011 a number of the members and I are doing a sponsored walk to Villa park to raise much needed funds for this excellent charity. We will be leaving the car park of Pelsall social club at 9am and hope to arrive at Villa park around 12.15pm, ready to take in the game against Newcastle.

People can donate via the just giving page that is set up (http://www.justgiving.com/North-Walsall-Lions) , or if they see 6-10 people looking tired, weary and foot-sore with buckets (and a North Walsall Lions flag!) by the ground about an hour before kick-off!
