Villa fans satisfaction = low

Obviously not scientifc (it is the Sun), but interesting.
Not surprisingly after our last season we come out looking like dis-satisfied customers.
We scored low on "how well the manager did", "teams performance" and "club satisfaction" which i would say probably reflects on our expectation levels.
I was surprised we scored so low in "feeling of belonging", where Everton came top.  Looking at the stats you can see that the "big" teams score low in this category which might explain why Blues finished higher than us in this, so is it to do with it being your local team, and  i wonder why Everton fans feel a bigger sense of belonging than us.

It's no surprise is it?

Regardless of how you feel at the moment I think we can all agree it is abundantly clear that we need something to inject a feel good factor at the club.

The only way that will change is if and when we sign some quality players - I'm sure it will happen in the coming weeks, just go to be patient......... ::)

Everytime jackthevillain1 posts something and everyone gangs up to take the piss out of him lifts spirits a bit.

Everton probably came top because it was such a small sample survey for them. Lets face it the circulation of The Sun on merseyside is probably about 20 papers.

I bet we came top in the 'Does your club provide a free scarf and nice pub that nobody goes in' section.

I wonder where we'd come in the "Let's have a moan about things that haven't happened yet" league. Champions League for sure.

Regardless of how you feel at the moment I think we can all agree it is abundantly clear that we need something to inject a feel good factor at the club.

We had such a feel good factor between 2006-09 it's hard to fathom how quickly it dissipated. I deliberately left out '10 because I think there was a sense we had plateaued and were in the last chance saloon in terms of breaking the top four that year. In previous years it had seemed we were on an upward trajectory and who knew where it would take us.

Still, a few decent signings and a good start to the season and we could be on  a new and exciting journey.
