Great result yesterday and a resolute display, especially in defence. It just shows that there's not as much deadwood there as we think.

A quick word on Gmac. He's taken a lot of stick on this board and most of it justified, but he got everything spot on yesterday, the starting line up, the subs, the timing of the subs and most importantly, not bringing Pires on, so credit to him, but he still needs to be gone at the end of the season.

I agree with the sentiments in your second paragraph, as much as it pains me to do so.

I have a great day at work so far, no sarky comments and no Arsenal fans to be seen anywhere

The main Bluenose wind up merchant at our place was mysteriously off sick today.

Has anyone else noticed that the attendance on Sunday - 60,023 - was exactly the same as it was when we participated in the first ever Premier League game at the Emirates in August 2006?
