Villa in Dubai?
« on: April 08, 2011, 04:18:24 PM »
A bit late now as I am flying out tomorrow morning, but on the offchance.

Anyone know if I can pick up Sunday's game anywhere in Dubai.

Cheers

Thought this was going to be about those mid-season bonding trips  we have when there's a two week break due to us being out of the cups. Then I remembered that we had downgraded to Leicestershire this year for Dunne and Collins' party piece the other week.

Make sure you go to the top of the Burj Khalifa - I was there a year ago today - breathtaking views for miles and all the other buildings down below look like Lego.

Pretty much any pub will have it on. You might like to try the Belgian Beer Cafe at the Crowne Plaza Festival City, if you want anything other than a glass of gassy Kronenberg. Or if you want to be near the beach, go for Barasti at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, but beware, it's full of twats. Yep, Irish Village will have it on, and if the weather's good, it's a decent al fresco spot after the game. Oh, and don't expect to find many (or any) Villa fans out there.
