Back to Villa goals, and the night will be the best night I'll remember, has to be the game against Inter and Kent Neilsons wonder strike.

Great goal, but I always preferred the second. It's vintage Cowans-Platt stuff.

Yeh that  is a great goal also, quality pass and quality finish. If only we had two players like that in our team now.

In fairness that's literally what our midfield is lacking - playmaking deep and advanced and runs for goal. Bradley can provide goals from midfield, but in our squad only Bannan has what Bentman calls "Sidness" about him, and he's still very much a young, developing player.

Kent Nielsen's goal always brings back fantastic memories of that night!

So what's that 5 league goals this season? £200k+ a week. Give me a break. If you're judging goals on style and when it was scored how about Rivaldo in the last minute vs Valencia to complete a hattrick and qualify for the CL?
This one you mean?

I also thought the celebration was telling of how good a goal it was, and of what a relief it was to Rooney. He just stood, arms out, eyes closed, head back taking in the adulation of 70,000 people. I would imagine that life rarely gets better than that moment.
After he'd run a good 30 yards to position himself directly in front of the away fans to really rub it in you mean?
