Aston Villa Hall of Fame
« on: September 08, 2010, 12:45:29 PM »
Each day I try to look through the anniversaries listed on Wikipedia.

Since the first Football League matches were played on this date (8 Sep) in 1888, this naturally lead me to Wikipedia's page on William McGregor.

According to da Wiki, Willie McG was inducted into the Aston Villa Hall of Fame.

I searched Pravda for info on the HOF but all the links generated are dead.

All I could find (via da Wiki) was this archived page

Does the AVFC HOF actually have a physical location or was the voting/inducting a notional thing?

I never read the Official Programme, so it's possible that things relating to the HOF happen without me knowing.

Is the HOF an ongoing project or was it a one off election ?

Check the site map at the bottom of the official site's home page and you'll find the "Hall of Fame" section under the heading "History".

That's hidden away, isn't it. As stated above, that doesn't come up on a search of the site.
