Freddie calls it a day
« on: September 16, 2010, 08:13:41 PM »
I think this deserves a thread separate to the Cricket 2010 one.

Andrew Flintoff has announced his retirement from all forms of the game.

here

Thanks for the memories, Freddie.

Not the icon that Both was, but a talisman nonetheless.  The Ashes of 2005 was the highpoint, but last year's swansong was also something to savour.

And if our sports stars are to get p*ssed, I'd much rather they get in a pedalo than behind the wheel of a Ferrari.

Whoops!  I now see that this is being discussed in Off Topic.  Serves me right for looking in the logical place first!

Mods please delete/merge/whatever.
