Won't Big Brad be concerned about his consecutive appearance record? The next Villa manager might not fancy him. Whereas Mark Hughes might be whispering to him that he'll play all season.

Shit, just read we could lose Brad Friedel and gain Manuel Alumnia.

That just feels like bad move or is it just me.

What do other people think ?
Until there is something tangible (and with story there never will be) then we try and keep transfer bullshit in the thread at the top.

Welcome to the site though.

Manuel Ammonia is a keeper not to be sniffed at.

He gets up my nose as well, Bri.

Why would Fiscal Austerity Villa spend money on Almunia when you have Guzan? In a strange way I can understand the board wanting to get rid of Brad. He's about to turn 40 and is a top earner at the club. Unfortunately Almunia is not that a great keeper and is probably a wash skill wise with Guzan. Plus any money the team would save loaning out or selling Brad would be lost on Almunia. No make sense.

Shouldn't that have been followed by a lock?

Almunia?  We might as well sign Taylor back.
