God forbid a Wigan Athletic type team ever winning the FA cup.

You seem to have taken away the opposite point that he's making. If it turns out that the English club wins the Europa and Conference Leagues every season because they're battering teams with a fraction of their resources, that's not really any different to PSG winning League 1 or Bayern blitzing the Bundesliga every year.

Which isn't a good thing, even if it does mean we (maybe) get a trophy out of it. If it turns out in years to come that there are plenty of Wigans / Olympiakoses and fewer Man Cities / Villas, then there isn't a problem.

I'll take it with a pinch of salt for now though. This time last year all of the "oh, what is to be done?" articles were about how the three promoted teams would all get relegated every season for ever more.

Then they weren't, and the problem went away on its own.

Four players in the team of the tournament, both Emis, McGinn and Rogers - Rogers named player of the tournament.

Konsa unlucky not to make the team, picked up a couple of goals as well
