A lad at my kids football is a Baggies ST holder, I asked about him and he said he's stood out as being particularly useless in a poor team, he did say the toxicity of the atmosphere doesn't help any of the younger players mind.

Good move all round, and I guess thats the last we'll see of him.

On a similar note there’s a couple of Albion supporters I play football with on a Sunday and they both said he’s been crap, one said he’s one of the worst players he’s seen. Being a ST holder for years you’d imagine he’s up against some pretty stiff competition.

I  have two friends who live in Pisa and have season tickets. I will ask how he gets on.

If he moves to Italy he needs to be careful of the police, carbonara are well dodgy.

Well, hopefully he'll get a pizza the action in Pisa, albeit in another relegation fight.

Good advice, they're not as straightforward to deal with as a Garda.

Hmmm.

Flann O'Brien, The Third Policeman:

“Always ask any questions that are to be asked and never answer any. Turn everything you hear to your own advantage. Always carry a repair outfit. Take left turns as much as possible. Never apply your front brake first.

‘If you follow them’, said the Sergeant, ‘you will save your soul and never get a fall on a slippery road.”

At a tangent, but when i lived in Paris 30 years ago there was a decent Irish pub called Flann O'Brien's

30 years ago when I visited Atlanta, there was a decent Irish pub called Fadó. The Guinness was pretty good, and there wasn't a Portuguese lady wailing in the background.
