6 team challenge
« on: January 04, 2026, 10:31:59 PM »
This is the best season since 92/93 (my fave season because I only began my journey in 1987). Winning game after game with abandonment and style.

Screw the media narrative on the fellaciating of the Gooners and Plop.

As far as I can tell we haven’t beaten every single team (either home or away) in a single season in the PL era. What an achievement that would be!

We are only 6 teams left - Plop, Brentford, Bar codes, Toffees, Palace, Black cats. All winnable games based on our current runs.

I keep watching the highlights of all our games over and over again. What a time to be a Villa fan.

It seems doable.

The flip side was we didn't manage to lose to every team in 15/16 as we drew with Newcastle twice.  Newcastle also managed not to lose to that famous Derby team of 07/08.

Ironically Newcastle are probably the most likely team to stop the reverse from happening, depending on if you think Newcastle away or Liverpool at home is more difficult.

I reckon we'll probably fail to win one of those. If we win them all we're in for a special season.
