Hi All, I'm looking for someone on here that has any knowledge of getting tickets for Corinthians.  I am going to be in Sao Paulo on 22/23rd November. Heading over for the Oasis gig.  I'd love to be able to catch the Corinthians v Gremio game on 22nd November.  If anyone has any knowledge of how to get a ticket without using a company such as Homefans it would be much appreciated!!

Have you been to São Paulo or Brasil before? Do you speak any Portuguese (or Spanish)?

The ground holds 49k and they average 42k so you should be able to get a ticket.

He could try, but that's not really the main issue. It appears they've implemented a Facial Recognition system to improve 'security' and crack down on touts (they also have one at the Maracana). I haven't gone through it, but wouldn't be surprised if the verification system is restricted to Brazilians with CPF numbers.

Obviously BV is the expert on here and go for his knowledge first, especially as this was probably posted before those cameras he mentioned.

Not an expert given it's been a few years, and I've only been to the Corinthians ground for matches during the World Cup. I can't find any mention of where their physical ticket office is either. Even if there is one at the ground, it's at least a 2 hour round-trip to it. In short, there comes a point (depending on how well you know São Paulo/speak the lingo) where it's just easier to pay the extra and go with something like Homefans.

Thanks everyone for their kind words and advice. I think I'm leaning towards using Homefans.  A very dear friend of mine used them for a very recent Argentina trip and he couldn't recommend them enough!
