They have a good home record and will get stuck into our boys from the off. Unai mentioned us conceding too many goals in one of his pressers but we will have too much firepower for them. So I've gone for a bit of a mad bet today. 4-2 to us at 40/1. Think I might be losing the plot.

I'm just about to leave this pub in Leyland and have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. I hope this experience becomes a regular occurance.

I think this will be fairly similar to the Cardiff game. PNE are better but also missing KHH, Ryan Porteous, their main keeper and a couple of their midfielders are suspended so far from the strongest 11 they can put out.

They'll low block so up to us to figure it out but Watkins, Rogers, Rashford, Asensio....Malen surely going to be too much.

Another 0-2.

Do we play extra time when we draw, or is it straight to penalties?

Their keeper is out and they've brought in Cornell who has made four appearances since signing for them in 2022.
