I dunno...anything post-millennial we lived and dissected on here ad nauseum and the plethora of football podcasts have hoovered-up all the tales and "bantz" of recently retired footballers.

The number of Villa fans that post on here, or any forum, is a tiny percentage of our support.

Tend to agree. It's a bit like social media IMO. Sometimes I go out with other family members, most of them younger than me. I'm the only one who bothers with social media in any form or fashion.

Definitely, what have you got in mind?

The erotic thriller I mentioned. Come on Lou, you're the target market 😉

Fifty Shades of Claret & Blue

: A journey through Aston Villa's kit history.
Definite Christmas Present material.

And just like that, the next Booker prize was confirmed 👍

Do you think it's about time I wrote another book?
Another?

To follow on from the eleven I wrote earlier in the century.
I never knew that.  After a quick search in our south library, and I found one of yours.

Been hilarious listening to likes of Warnock and Downing on podcasts talking about the MON era and how little we trained and generally how amateurish and 1980s it all was. Warnock was saying he'd come from Blackburn with a far more scientific approach under Big Sam and genuinely couldn't understand how we were top 6.

Me being me I'd like recollections of that era all in one literary work rather than having to find parts of 3-4 different podcasts when those players talk about that time.

Yeah and a high percentage of DW's "client base". Everyone has their own niche taste but personally I'd rather read about something i didn't live through.

It will still be a small percentage of those that bought the fanzines and books.
