I think the Diaby deal helped out the more stringent UEFA PSR rules.

Either that or it means we may not have to sell another big name before next 30th June, as I think the Diaby sale happened in this financial year.

Does anyone have the statistics as to whether we concede more with Cash at RB? 😈

It is really frustrating to watch that side of the pitch. Bailey has turned back into a pub player, and Jaden grifts, but I'm not seeing much attacking flair. I'm pretty desperate to see if we can do something in January.

Am struck by how Philogene seems to have been learning at the same school as Bailey Mk3 - pick up the ball, lose your balance, try and poke it between the opponent’s legs, give the ball away, rinse and repeat.

Those who have seen him play more, what is his USP? Is it pace over a few yards, is it a trick, is he supposed to make a dash for the touchline, come inside and clatter in a shot?

Cash was initially a 'swashbuckling' winger was he not?  I seem to remember him ripping us a new one in that 5-5 draw.  Not that this is relevant but it might explain why he isn't that great at Right Back.

High energy but little quality. His career wasn't really going anywhere until he moved back to RB. The few times he has played RWB or RW for us he has been horrible.

The days of defenders flying in with tackles and leaving a bit on forwards are about 10 years gone. Forwards are too clever now, mistime it at all and it's a yellow and a set piece in a dangerous area. If Cash could rid that from his game, near miss peno v Bournemouth for example and he gave away a stupid free kick after that again, then I'd put up with his limitations on the ball. He's played pretty well for us this season when fit. Two penalties conceded alright but West Ham one was ridiculous, maybe less so at Fulham.

His fitness is a real issue now unfortunately, two injuries already and that's after the summer off missing the Euros with another injury.

I think García will be bedded-in gradually, it's a big jump from playing Albacete in La Segunda.

Malen...please hit the ground running and don't be a Bailey'24-'25 or a Jaden'24.

I know he got the hook on Saturday but I thought Garcia showed a great deal of promise against the medieval Wanderers on Saturday.  Lots of pace and power and will get up to speed quickly, hopefully. Bailey however, was terrible.

Rashford plays left rather than right.

Rashford can play on the right, it’s true at Man Utd he generally did do better on the left but that might be because Luke Shaw was better than any of the right backs he was played in front of.
