Wycombe Wanderers
« on: September 13, 2024, 07:27:38 PM »
How easy is it to get back to High Wycombe train station after the match? Is there any public transport or, a place to get/ call a taxi after?

Going back to the smoke after the game so, I'm OK as long as I get back to the station by 23:33 so worse case scenario, I can walk it. Thanks.

There should be buses back from the ground.

It’s quite a schlep from the ground back to the Town centre and station about 2.5miles according to Google Maps with a walk time of about 45mins to an hour. I’d be trying to get a taxi or as Dave says I think they do free buses.

The ground is at the end of an industrial estate and is miles away from the town centre. Even then, the train station is the 'other side' of High Wycombe. Will you definitely take a train back to London? If you could take a coach, then you could try to get to Handy Cross roundabout (just off the M40 J4) as the coach stop is there. Also, there aren't may drinking opportunities near the ground.

Went there for a Preseason Friendly.

Ground is miles away from the train station. We got a taxi and it still took a while.
