Re rivalry, Wulves were never that far up my personal priority list. As a kid, it was always SHA and the Bitters as local rivals; the former very much No.1 because I was living 'behind enemy lines'. After I moved out of the area (for work reasons) RedManc have become probably my most disliked rival-team, with the Bitters being more prominent as well.
Having said that, I find it hard to speak well of any other large-ish club!

Growing up in Ward End, ( what a close call to , worlds end} the Blues always were the real rivals.
From school to town if there were any disagreements it was with them.
As for the Albion, they were a novelty, close but no cigar.
Wolves, They were from a different country and had no relevance in any discussion other than Derick Dougan once played for us and that Billy Wright shagged a Beverly sister, or was it 2 ?
They seem to have a spell on us for the last few seasons.
Time to exorcize it tomorrow  4-1  be course we don't do clean sheets.

Agree....growing up in East Brum it was Blues or Villa.....Wolves and Albion seemed a world away.
Anyway let's send these double denim dingles home on the rattler with their party 7's and nil points

It has been a fascinating pre-match discussion. I am now pumped up for 3 pm BST.
