That Defensive Shape.

In the second half was a thing of beauty.  Amazing what can be done when a tactically clueless buffoon is replaced by someone that knows what they’re doing.

You could see it well in the second half with five across the back and a bank of four in front of them, conceding the width but not allowing Brighton to play through us.  We were well organised and well worth the win.

It was a 6-3-1 towards the end when Young and McGinn were playing as additional full backs

You can see why he has been so effective in two legged european matches. Pity thursday came a couple of weeks too soon.

It's also amazing how footballers at the top level are actually very good at doing what the manager tells them to do.

It's just getting the manager to tell them to do the right thing.

Maybe he told the players to look him in the eye, and that's what has got us playing better.

I'm confused, I don't really remember any 'moments of magic' but we won. How can this be?

It was that when we had the ball. Without it, I'd say we were an unashamed 6-4-0.
