Very accurate description of today’s events and where we are. Dramatic couple of weeks to come, hope we can play like today in the next two but wouldn’t bet on it.

Gerrard's comments in the week looked even more displaced today.  Yes, Chelsea may have spent a lot of money, but this is not the Premier aand Champions League version of Cheksea from yesteryear.  They looked very vulnerable at times in the first half and might struggle to get in the top four on today's evidence. 

Whether a side like that should be "wiping the floor" with us is very questionable.

I would have thought that the yellow that should have been a red but wasn't because they are Chelsea was worth a mention too.
