Just to put the icing on the cake I’ve just been pigged by the Covid app for a contact from Saturday. Will be doing a test later.

I can tell you now that was caused by you leaving and entering Trinity Road at 18.55 approximately.  Would neve have happened had you stayed in your seat.

I stayed till the end and got home earlier than I normally do by about 15 minutes so there was a method in my madness!
Same here!  ;)

I’m a wanker.
Me too. In my defence, I watch most games on a dodgy stream in the middle of the night/early morning. The internet has better distractions than waiting for the fourth goal to go in...

Thanks for just chopping that part of my quote haha.

We're talking about deserting the side with 20 minutes to go. That's not nipping to the toilet or making a dash for the train, that's an egregious surrender.

I surrendered on 82 minutes. If I'd known it was going to upset you so much I'd have stayed. Until the 70th minute.
I usually stay till the death.  But on Saturday I'd really have like to have left at 80mins, particularly because of the late KO time and I wanted to get to the pub.  But my row in the upper Holte had stayed amazingly resolute whereas the rows in front had all scarpered.  So in the spirit of die hard comradery we all stuck it out and took the piss out of the part timers (who weren't there to hear us so no fights caused).

It was a shit 15 mins tbh and I wished I'd left.

I wonder how many times in football history, a team has had more possession than the other, has had more shots than the other, has had more shots on target than the other, has had more corners than the other and should even have won on expected goals, only to lose 4-0 at home ?!
