Yes, of course gloating will come back to haunt you eventually... BUT... after a decade or so of having to pick out the edible bits from a piece of mouldy bread and dripping, you'll have to excuse me if I gorge a while on the pātisserie that is a 7-2 drubbing of the champions.

It's not just 'the champions' either, it was the team that had won the league with 7 games to go!!!

I've always said I don't gloat in victory. Turns out there's a six goal maximum.

As I said originally, I try not to gloat, that doesn't mean I don't recognise what has gone on before and that I'm any less happy with last Sunday's result than anyone else, it's just that I'd prefer not to do it.

I would loved to have been in my regular boozer last week as it's a Liverpool stronghold, I would have just sat there smiling, it would have been enough, they wouldn't have a clue what was going on in my head.

It seems my son is somewhat different to me.  I've just finished talking to him and he said he hasn't missed an opportunity, especially at work.  He said that whilst teaching sports psychology he referenced the numbers seven and two at every opportunity just to watch the few Liverpool plastic students squirm.

Ten years of shit, 6-0 annihilation and constant Liverpool love-in from the media. Of course we should enjoy it, any way we want. Times are dark enough so when opportunities arrive we should take full advantage or them. If it comes back and bites my backside, so what, enjoy the day! UTV
