What a brilliant day. An undoubted high point in every Villa fan's life.

5 Years ago! seems like 5 minutes, how quick is my life going.

Fantastic day out - one of the last games I attended with my dad (he is now in his 80's) and not very well and struggles to remember events in his life, but I would not have missed all those fantastic times with him and the 100's of games we saw together.

Grealish, Delph and Benteke were superb that afternoon.

I struggle to enjoy the memory of this game now, because of all the pain and suffering that followed. Feels like reminiscing over the great shag that gave you chlamydia.

Doesn't matter what happened after it, it was a great day and is up there with my best Villa days and always will be. What happened afterwards will never change how I felt that day.

Fair enough. It spoils it for me. The best semis (pack it in) I remember were Tranmere and Arsenal because they resulted in a happy ending (again, pack it in).

It was nice of us to sing "Happy Birthday" to Steven Gerrard afterwards

And they've hated us ever since. Fook sake, we didn't even mention 'Slippy Gee'.
