Reselling ST seats
« on: September 02, 2019, 03:37:42 PM »
OK, I give up.  Can anyone explain to me how the devil I go about organising this?  I am logged into the ticket site, but cannot see any options to resell?

I've accessed it through>Tickets>Home games>and clicking on your own name in top right corner after you've logged in. It doesn't appear to be available at the mo. Seems very hit and miss. It took a while for facility to be up and running for Bournemouth game, then was taken down and then re-sale for Bournemouth and Everton was possible. Has the facility got anything to do with the ticket office selling out first before they offer the re-sale option? It's beginning to look this way!

That would make sense because, as far as I understand, this is a buy-back option rather than ticket resale.

Even though I have not been in touch with the ticket office today, strangely (nudge nudge wink wink) they sent me an email stating the following

"The resale of season tickets for individual matches is only available once the match has sold out, and is entirely at the club's discretion."

I'm not really sure what prompted them to contact me directly today.

The resale of ST seats is now available for the West Ham match.

It is resale - if they don't resell your ticket, you don't get the money.

I did it for Everton, worked pretty well. For work reasons I will probably have to do it for West Ham too :(
