Absolutely spot on Mr Woodhall
The highlight of four out of five most recent visits to Wembley has been the excellent curry at the Grapes Tandoori - Uxbridge Rd Hayes

Yup their game management and tactical awareness was better than ours. Not great when you consider gulf in experience.

Talk amongst yourselves for a bit.

Dave,

The guy sitting next to us in Block 551 had ‘Woodhall’ printed on the back of his Villa shirt. Was he a relative perhaps ?

I saw him . I doubt it though; I didn't recognise him.

Thank you Dave for all the write ups. They are a big part of my Villa life. Thankfully I could also take solace in a friend who is a wondrous vegan Italian chef in East London. I felt for those with long journeys home.. My Mrs (Fulham away, Semi & Wembley) still yet to see us score. Amazingly she's more invested in us than before yesterday.
Looking forward to celebrating again one day. Keep the faith y'all.

Nothing in the article that you could argue with.  We were simply rabbits caught in the headlights on Saturday.

I felt not so much rabbits caught in headlights - but more to do with intent.

Thanks for the articles all season, I read them every Monday morning at work (as you generally post Sunday evenings) over a coffee and usually agree with every word.  A much apprecaited addition being so far away from the match.

"Ultimately, Villa didn’t win the game for the same reason they didn’t get automatic promotion – they, or rather the manager – weren’t adventurous enough when it counted."

Our season in a nutshell.
