Villa fans and young players
« on: January 27, 2017, 12:28:22 PM »
Just wonder sometimes how villa fans expect young players who we can have talent expect to develop in the chaos of villa in last 7 years.

Likes of Grealish, Gardner , Baker who have come through our ranks, we can see have talent have been in a toxic situation with around 7 managers and loads of crap players around them.

Surely they need time now to hopefully fulfil talent in a successful side?

I think the issue is more to do with coaching or the lack of it. Albrighton was stagnating but after a move was a different player

Not having a scouting network was a disgrace and the cost wmould be minimal and hopefully its on its way to being sorted

Who's been criticising Baker ?

Not many this season, but plenty have in the past. Hopefully you will be posting a similar question about Jack in 12 months.

Up to this season he deserved it though. An absolute car crash of a defender in the PL but he looks like st his level in the championship.

Or perhaps he has improved?

I can forgive Gabby most of his technical shortcomings based on the fact he's had to work under dinosaurs since breaking into the first team. Hopefully Calderwood can help our young, raw talent develop. It's long overdue.
