When we go down will we still retain  Seat Wave  as ticket sell on  partners.  I hope so otherwise I would actually be paying more to watch a lower standard of football.

Lower standard maybe, more enjoyable though (hopefully).

"Aston Villa and Ticketmaster are delighted to announce the launch of a three-year official ticket resale partnership"

"We look forward to developing our relationship with them over the next three seasons."

But....... All this probably involved Premier League status.

I don't see why we wont. We'll still have ST holders wanting to sell tickets for games they can't go to etc.

Qpr still use a ticket exchange service so we might still be with S.W but none of us know the T&C's of that partnership, so who knows.

You'd have thought it had got there by now.

Before I get shot down Ive only ever travelled away from Villa Park twice in 2000. Living up in the north for the last few years has made it difficult for me to get down to watch, however this season I'll be looking to get tickets to the away games in Yorkshire.I just want to know if booking away tickets is straightforward or is it for season ticket holders as priority?

usually ST holders who have a history of going to away matches first
then st holders , then villa cash people , then people who have a booking history of away matches
then sold out

It'll be difficult this year with smaller grounds but you might get tickets for some of the bigger away ends if our new Board aren't as conservative when it comes to taking allocations as the last lot.

We should get a decent number of tickets to, for instance, Blackburn, Newcastle and Wigan. It might be worth getting a Villa Cash card to boost your chances. If you go to a few home games, it pretty much pays for itself.
