Frankie Hayward
« on: January 25, 2016, 12:47:21 PM »
i just thought I would add a message about an old friend of my dads Frankie Hayward
Its his funeral today and it brought back a lot of happy memories
The main one being as an exited 9 year old standing at the bottom of our street just before xmas 1970 waiting for Frankie to pick me and my dad up to go to the league cup 2nd leg
Frankie used to take us to most home games as he was the only Villa supporter we new with a car back then
He stopped being a regular a few years back now as he fell out of love with modern football but when ever I saw him he asked how they were playing
He passed away last week at 80 years old another Holte ender in the sky
