"Twitter exploded with delight today as new boy Fabian Delph was carried off just 18 mins into his first game for the Sky Blues" (source The Guardian).

I would never wish injury on a player, not even an utter twat like Delph- likely tobe a minority view methinks.

Somehow, I have a feeling that it won't be a minority view.

I don't think anyone was wishing for him to get injured.

But there's plenty who think that there's a bloody great portion of karma / natural justice / just desserts in the the fact that he has.

Just need his league debut to fall the first Saturday in November now.
