Managers we have put to the sword
« on: March 20, 2015, 10:47:50 AM »
After the destruction of Gus Poyets Sunderland and his subsequent sacking was wondering, how many other managers have we loaded the gun for? Off the top of my head I can only think of Alan Shearer at Newcastle but there are bound to be a couple more over the years...

Jol was sacked a few weeks after we played them. We may have got him sacked if we hadn't thrown away that 4-1 lead on their birthday.

Thought it was Kevin Phillips that did for Gullit.
