Interesting to hear McLeish say that Benteke was on our scouting/player database when he was with us (although he said he never looked at him when he was with us).

I would have thought there are countless players worldwide on our scouting database.

Well,I guess from TSM's point of view the problems that plagued Lambert (mainly with the budget) are the ones he contended with. So his views are still kind of relevant.

Namely being dour, uninspiring and unable to set up a team that can win matches.

It was surprising to hear but McLeish sounded like a different person in that interview - he wasn't dour at all, in fact he sounded beyond perky
