The problem we've had hasn't been that the kids aren't up to it, we've frequently chucked too many in at the same time and when they've had a tonking, they have looked around for a more experienced, mature player to gee them up and not got it. Yep, how much better would we have been with a Senderos-type a couple of years earlier - especially when Vlaar was injured and a raw Clark and Baker were being paired and seeing the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and Wigan scoring 12 in 3 against them. You could see that really affected Clark who had the captain's armband at the time.

If you have a core of strong, experienced players it becomes easier to bring younger players in.

We have Guzan, Vlaar, Delph, Hutton etc all playing now, all with xp. I really hope he starts putting Grealish on before N'Zogbia, but I have little faith.
