Rugby World Cup Tickets
« on: October 27, 2014, 01:59:08 PM »
Anyone going?

I got 3 out of 8 matches i applied for.

USA v Samoa at Brighton
SA v Samoa at Villa park
Australia v Wales at Twickers

Extortionate pricing for the bigger games. Should be interesting to see rugby at VP.

I read that the England v whiney arsed convicts game in the Pool stage had something like 10,000 tickets available via the lottery/ballot allocation (bearing in mind Twickenham seats 80,000) and that 800,000 applications were received for tickets for that 1 game.

Australia just aren't the force they were and don't have the draw they once had either, although I always enjoying going to any game where Australia play and support the opposition, sadly I'm away for the Barbarians game this weekend though.

Got none of the four I went for. Disappointed as wanted to go to the South Africa game. My dad is South African and won't get too many opportunities to see them. Never mind.

Is it too late to get any? Didn't even know you could get them now. Probably missed out.
