When you click to vote it takes you to a page about Suarez biting at the World Cup. Nice work Beeb.

Best opening day for me was QPR at home 1993/94. 2nd year before, four dazzling goals from Villa, new kit, nice weather. I thought we were going to win the league.

Add Sunderland 1982 to the anti-climax list. Obviously parading a trophy before the game doesn't suit us.

1997-98 season. Felt like the best summer ever, then the games started. Four games, four defeats, Collymore crap, the defence gone to pot, the team unbalanced. Biggest let down ever at the time.

I was 13 that summer.  With the Collymore signing confirming literally the day after the final day of the 96-97 season, that summer felt like the longest pre-season ever.
I'd never been so excited for the season to start. In my naivety I also believed that Collymore was going to the final piece.
I remember being shell shocked after the Blackburn game 4-0 defeat.
After the forth defeat to Newcastle, I ran upstairs and sobbed my heart out!

Arsenal was up there for me in terms of best opening weekends. Apart from my hangover kicking in on the way home!
