Paul Lambert is a big admirer of the claret and blue faithful - and he's inviting them into Villa Park as a big thank-you.

Boss Lambert has organised for a special open training session to take place at B6 to help supporters and stars bond even more than usual.

The exciting event, in association with FIAT, takes place on Tuesday October 29 and supporters can claim a FREE ticket in advance.

Season ticket holders can book their free tickets from Monday October 7.

From Wednesday October 7 it is the turn of JV-Life members to secure their place, while the following day tickets are available to all supporters.

Tickets will be available to book online, by telephone or in person at the Villa Village ticket office. There will be a maximum of six tickets per booking.

Grandparents, mums, dads and kids are all invited as the new boss puts his young and hungry squad through their paces.

You'll be able to get up close and personal with the summer signings like Leandro Bacuna, Nicklas Helenius, Aleksandar Tonev and Libor Kozak.

Then there's established favourites like Gabby Agbonlahor, Brad Guzan, Andreas Weimann and Ron Vlaar.

The likes of Scott Marshall, Ian Culverhouse, Gary Karsa and Terry Gennoe will be heavily involved as Lambert watches on intently.

You won't want to miss out on an event which has become an annual delight.

As well as the chance to watch training, there will be lots of competitions on the day - and also 'one day only' discounts on merchandise and tickets.

What's more, there's also an Open Training Extra Time disco after the main event for families looking to extend their day out at Villa Park.

The football-themed family lunch will include a disco, party games and the opportunity to have your picture taken with Villa's major trophies.

There will be a two-course lunch served and a cash bar available.

The event runs from midday until 3pm. It costs £10 for adults, £7.50 for U16s and free for U2s.

Claim your open training session ticket by calling 0800 612 0970, in person at at Villa Village or from the online box office.
