Evans scored one and Gregory was number eight.

Did JG score lol, dont know why but thought he did. Was he not wearing all shirt numbers cos of his versatility?

Used to live near the ground when no away fans were allowed in, was great fun and always some Villa fans in the ground. Seem to remember us winning 1-0 there and God was on the bench but probably pist again (me and not him)

I have copies of three match reports for the game, from The Birmingham Post, Evening Mail and Daily Express; none from the Sports Argus bearing in mind the game was played on a Monday. Whilst the reports from the local papers each have three photos of the game, and all three from the Post have the Trinity Road Stand in the background, I cannot see any cowboy hats!

I am more than happy to copy the reports and send them to you, johnny from donny, if you'd like to PM me your address.
Thanks for your efforts mate, just wanted to show the old bugger photographic proof of what I know to be true.

Deehan and OG were our other goals.

Cheers PWS. I was trying to recall the other scorers and figured Deehan was probably one of them.

I stood on the Kop at least twice in those days. It was a lot different to nowadays.
