Hope you don't mind me hijacking this, I don't usually buy merchandise but I'm trying to buy the 1982 Claret and Blue European Cup winners top, on the website it says "in stock" but having tried to order it through kitbag they've said its out of stock and don't know when it'll be available. Is there a direct number to the club shop? The 0871 number doesn't seem to work and I'm guessing it takes you through to kitbag.

I need to know if they're available in the club shop so someone could get me one.

At 7.30pm this evening I received a courtesy call from Donna in the ticket office asking me if I was aware of the current promotions. She was very professional and went through all the offers available (25% off, training session, etc etc). She also mentioned the need to wear the gold/silver pin-badge for an additional something but did not expand on it. I wonder what that could be?

They sound pretty desperate. Most retailers are pretty desperate, but the surviving ones tend not to be starved of investment by their fickle, formerly enthusiastic, owners.
