Interesting play by Grobbelaar for the penalty.

Thanks for that. I was at the game and remember Liverpool fans attacking us after we got off the coach. Also remember Spinky saving the 2 penaltys. Thats the first time i've seen footage of it as the coach i was on, ran by 'Jeff', went to Blackpool after the game.

I was at this game. I remember the score being 1-1 and Shaw scoring for us, but I didn't remember it was a penalty, and I'd completely forgotten about their twice-taken penalty. That ref was determined to give them every chance to score, wasn't he? Although you have to say Gibbo did rather "buy" the pen for us too!

Not even a yellow for BG for the pen
Would be a straight red nowadays

I too remember a big row on the coach park, in fact I remember Liverpool away as a fixture where trouble was almost guaranteed. Good to see that again and how composed we were in defence

I was at that game as well, got the train up from Bournemouth, and had a few drinks pre match.
We must have been lucky, as we were drinking with a few locals, who were impressed at where we had come from, even showed us a safe way to our end.
Iirc, we never stopped singing all game, and i slept most of the way back!!!
