20% (ish) Villa - "Back Pass" Retro Football Magazine
« on: May 16, 2012, 02:33:53 PM »
The above-mentioned publication has in its Spring 2012 edition a 2-page spread on Nigel Spink, mainly but not entirely on his 26/5/82 exploits and also in its "Programme Collection" feature an article on the Match Programme for Villa v Swansea 5 days before the great day in Rotterdam. Well worth a read. (I'd forgotten the Swansea match entirely and was staggered to read that the crowd for that match, on the Friday evening before the FA Cup Final was all of 18,294)

Yep, was very surprised to see Nigel Spink's mug leering back from the top shelf alongside FHM's 100 Sexiest! in Eason the other day.

I'm sure I read the same article ages ago? Are they now doing retro-retro editions?

We photo-copied it from work Chris, as it was being booked in.

I thought this was going to be a magazine about Brendon Batson.
