The one year we struggle to score we scored screamers!

Not to bring McLeish bashing into it, but doesn't that say something about villa under him? Our best chance of scoring all season was through  a flash of individual brilliance. There was little else by way of a strategy, like set-pieces under MON, supplying Bent under Houllier or wingers under Brian Little.

This year (Chelsea away being an exception) we relied more than ever on players having an inspirational moment of genius.

Some absolute belters there.

I'd go

1. Stan at Sunderland
2. Gabby's goal (which was very like the one Barry scored at home to Spurs a few years ago)
3. Weimann
