At a difficult time for Villa, it's pleasing to have two things to feel good about in one week. The McGregor ceremony was obviously a proud and dignified occasion, and you're right to mention the appreciative response of the fans to the team's efforts against Arsenal. The news isn't all bad!

A bit overly praiseworthy (a most unWoodhall-like trait) of Arshavin though. He's a shadow of the player he was with Russia at the last Euro's and when Arsenal first bought him.
