If he's had heart surgery the chances of him playing again must be fairly small?  Unfortunate if so, he's a quality player.

Sound like he developed a blood clot on the flight.

Real shame, bit of a character but still a decent player. Will miss his escapades till me returns. Best of luck.

Isn't black humour one of the cornerstones of the nation? I'm willing to bet that Brazilian Villain wishes him a speedy recovery too

It is, but surely there's a time and place for it.

As someone who's father had a stroke in February, of which he died two weeks later, and who's mother had a stroke three weeks ago which has severley damaged
her speech, I found it impossible to see the funny side.

I'm sure there will be quite a few people reading it that will have similar experiences.

If it was in a 'light hearted' thread then fair enough but this really isn't the place for it, though I'm sure BrazillianVillain didn't mean to upset or offend anyone.

Hopefully it was only a mild stroke and he recovers completely.

Sorry to hear about your Dad mate and I hope your Mum is comfortable
