The McGregor grave - an update
« on: October 19, 2011, 03:52:12 PM »
We're well over halfway towards the target  but naturally, donations have stalled a bit - we need £1,500 to get it done, and with the service in December time's starting to press. So far we've got ten of the original 12 clubs sending representatives, plus the FA chairman and the Lord Mayor. We've even got the minister from the man's original church in Perthshire coming down. It'll look a bit embarrassing if we're all there and the grave's not finished so please, if you haven't got round to donating yet, do so. www.villatrust.org.uk

Could you ask the players for a contribution?

This is the first time I have read this thread so you may have already done so. Just a thought.

C'mon folks, get donating.
If honouring the great man isn't enough them look at it this way , without him there would be no league system, without that there would be no relegation, without that we would be deprived of sniggering at Bloose going down every couple of seasons.

Come on that's worth a fiver of any Villa fans money.
