Villa 2-0 S Bucharest 1998

Perhaps the last true highlight of Brian Little's reign and two quality strikes. One of Savo's best performances and goals and easily one of Collymore's even if he didnt score. Considering Yorke didnt play in this game i thought our front two were quality that night and Lee Hendrie was in that early honey moon period after he'd broke into the team.

Absolutely fantastic find again Deano's. You really bring us down memoery lane. The uefa cup run that year really made up for some poor performances in the league.

Why were we in the away top? I remember us wearing it, but can't remember the reason.

Also, which was the match that Savo scored in, in extra time, to win us a UEFA match. Remember it was scored at the North Stand.

I think we were in the white strip because their colours were red and blue, like crystal palace but I could be wrong.

Except we had to change when we went to Madrid and also had to change when we played them at Villa Park!
