Stoke are the most depressing team that I've seen in a long long time.

I can think of at least one team that's depressed me more.

Looks like a Martin ONeill home performance from last season to me, team comes to Villa Park, tactics to nulify our pacey threat from the wings, park the bus hope for counter attacking or set piece goal, we then huff and puff for the majority of the game in their half, send in numerous crosses and corners, but ultimately come up short by lacking invention and incisive passing to break them down.

Until we bring more pace to our passing in and around the box, these kind of results will just carry on.

All in all, we're a very, very drab football team indeed. Glad I didn't pay money to watch that dross. Having said that, all that matters is points now, and we got one. We need more to be sure.

Both teams content with a point after Bent's goal -

Did either keeper make a noteworthy save the entire match ?

Stoke score from a throw in ! how predictable was that against our defence ?

Pathetic away following from the Potteries even if they have a Wembley trip coming up.
