Firstly every time i hear a tv channel like this i am always waiting to hear either

"Chris Waddle" or "scorchio"

Interesting that the Madrid council did not have any H&S concerns regarding the parading of a domestic trophy round the city centre

Maybe our council just did not want dog shit everywhere

Real Madrid is the Madrid council

The Spanish don't hang about with their open top bus parades do they? None of this planning it for days in advance, on a weekend or Bank Holiday. As soon as they win a cup its straight back to Madrid for a right old party - in the early hours of a Thursday morning! A few sickies being thrown today methinks.

Went to the beautiful city of Salamanca for a midweek break, and even 120 miles away from Madrid throngs were congregated in the town squares celebrating into the early hours last night/this morning.
